基督教社会联盟DH will hire and equitably retain, 支持, and promote a diverse 教师, 工作人员, and administration who feel a sense of belonging on campus and are 支持ed to achieve their personal, 专业, 教育, and institutional goals and to nurture a similar sense of belonging, 知识的增长, and achievement for their students and colleagues.

Goal 1: We will leverage expertise across campus and from our local and broader community members to create equitable, 有凝聚力的, and sustainable 专业 development programs for 教师, 工作人员, and administrators that are explicitly aligned with the university’s social 正义 mission, 愿景, and 价值s and 支持 the goals in this strategic plan.

  • 到2023年春季, the campus will collect feedback from stakeholders to identify the types of 专业 development opportunities needed to meet employees’ personal and 专业 goals throughout their careers and to address the findings and recommendations of the Gender 股本 and Anti-racism Task Forces.
  • 到2023年秋季, the campus will create and assess programming for new 教师, mid- and late-career 教师, and 部门 chairs that is responsive to the feedback collected from stakeholders and the recommendations of the Gender 股本 and Anti-racism Task Forces.
  • 到2024年春季, the campus will create and charge a coordinating committee for 教师 development that aligns, 集成了, and publishes a comprehensive calendar of the efforts of the various units and entities that 支持 教师 excellence such as the Faculty Development Center, the 办公室 of Undergraduate Studies, the 办公室 of Graduate Studies and Re搜索, 及学术科技.
  • 到2024年秋季, the campus will have established metrics for 教师 participation in intramural and extramural funding opportunities and put processes in place to examine 股本 in these activities by key characteristics, including academic rank and tenure-track status.
  • 到2025年春天, the campus will establish a 专业 development center for 工作人员 and administrators that is responsive to the feedback collected from stakeholders and the recommendations of the Gender 股本 and Anti-racism Task Forces.
  • 到2025年秋季, the all di愿景s will develop di愿景-specific onboarding processes, mentoring and development opportunities, and recognition events for 工作人员;
  • 到2027年春季, 基督教社会联盟DH will have collaborated with the relevant units to build and sustain the infrastructure necessary to assess the impact of 基督教社会联盟DH 专业 development programs.

Goal 2: Fostering 多样性, 正义, 股本, 和包容 will be a core principle of all components of Toro work life, including policies and practices related to recruitment, 招聘, 保留, 评价, 促销活动, 工资, RTP进程, 奖励结构, and 专业 development.

  • 到2023年春季, the campus will hire external consultants to 1) establish baseline, intersectional data regarding campus climate and race and gender 股本 in 招聘, 保留, 评价, 促销活动, and 工资 for 基督教社会联盟DH 教师 and 工作人员 and 2) 支持 the campus to create a process and infrastructure for collecting, 分析, and responding to this data on an ongoing basis.

  • 到2024年秋季, the campus will create a central 股本 compensation pool for 工作人员 and administrators.

  • By Spring 2028, and triennially thereafter (i.e., 2031, 2034, 等等), 司法办公室, 股本 和包容 shall compile and distribute a campus-wide report summarizing the outcomes of each college, 部门, or campus units’ data-informed 股本 assessments and plans of action.
  • 到2029年春季, the 总统办公室 shall develop, introduce and implement a data-informed accountability mechanism. Such measures will include examination of fiscal resources, 人力资源管理, and other factors to ensure that future strategic plans 支持 the efforts articulated.
